Wednesday Afternoon Dept: The charges follow an accident in which a platform collapsed 13 storeys above-ground at a Kipling Ave. apartment complex, dropping the four workers to their deaths, according to The Star. They were expected to appear in court Wednesday afternoon and three men have been arrested in connection with the Christmas Eve accident that killed four high-rise workers, and now face the stiffest criminal charges in Ontario history for a workplace tragedy. The accused surrendered to police, accompanied by a lawyer, at 23 Division at 7:30 a.m. As reported in the news.
