He said the police began their investigation when some of the victims came forward 10 months ago and rCMP investigators are looking for 10 members of a Hamilton family suspected of human trafficking after at least 16 people from Hungary complained that they were brought to Canada and treated like slaves. "They were scared, they were nervous. They're in a foreign country. They trusted these people, and were subjected to a form of modern-day slavery," said RCMP Insp. Steve Martin.
