Canadian Immigration: Documentary Records

His home was ransacked by thugs while he was out of the country and his employer evacuated his wife and children to a neighbouring country to get them out of danger and today is my birthday. And as someone who had the good fortune to be born and raised in Canada, I can prove my date of birth with ease. And in one case that has come to my attention, the inability to prove a date of birth to the satisfaction of Canadian immigration authorities has separated a middle-aged man from his family for four years.
