Only Uribe and her eldest daughter were ordered deported. Sarah was officially allowed to stay because she is a Canadian citizen, but Uribe said she could not leave her daughter behind and supporters of a Colombian native who has been ordered deported from Canada are calling on the government to allow her to stay. The Colombia native has been living in Montreal since 2007, when she filed a claim for refugee status.
