Eu Countries Dept: The European Commission the executive body of the EU said that France failed to follow an EU directive that citizens can have free movement across the 27-coutry bloc, according to CBC. However, the commission did not take the step of declaring that France is discriminating against a specific ethnic group and the European Union is launching legal action against France over that country's expulsion more of 1,000 illegal Roma immigrants to poorer EU countries. The commission said it is sending France notification that it should follow the directive. As reported in the news.
