Pierre Yves Dept: Pierre-Yves Boisvert, the city's lawyer, railed yesterday against whoever leaked the confidential report by psychologist Martin Courcy to the media, comparing them to thieves and arsonists, according to Montreal Gazette. Boisvert told the coroner's inquest into the Aug. 9, 2008, slaying of the 18-year-old in Montreal North that the leak was like someone finding a confidential draft report about a cure for cancer and making it public so cancer patients buy the cure, but they end up dying anyway because the research wasn't complete and the city of Montreal is determined to keep the lid on an internal police report that concludes systemic harassment of minorities and racism on the force led to a riot after the fatal shooting by police of Fredy Villanueva in 2008. Another internal report by criminologist Mathieu Charest about racial profiling on the force was leaked in August. As
reported in the news.
