An angry political wind is buffeting the curved towers on Queen St. W., especially from the west, north and east. And what s mind-boggling to many Ford fans is the idea of supporting anyone else after eight years of Mayor David Miller s left-leaning council and to the many critics of Councillor Rob Ford, his domination of the Toronto mayoral race is mind-boggling. Yet the Ford fans fanatics to his critics are hardly a mysterious fringe. If recent opinion polls are correct, they are a majority of committed voters as the Oct. 25 election looms.
