Toronto Mayoral Race Dept: An Ipsos-Reid poll done after it was revealed Ford had been convicted on a drinking and driving charge in Florida and after he made controversial comments related to new immigrants coming to Toronto shows Ford with a lead of more than 10 points over his nearest rival, George Smitherman, according to CBC. Sarah Thomson is in third place with 10 per cent. Joe Pantalone has nine and Rocco Rossi has seven per cent of decided voters and another public opinion poll has put Rob Ford squarely in the lead in the Toronto mayoral race. The latest poll indicates Ford has the support of 32 per cent of decided voters, while Smitherman has 21 per cent. As reported in the news.
