Immigration: Marc Fournier

Michael Ignatieff Dept: Mr. Fournier, who does not have a seat in the legislature, has to win a by-election in a Montreal-area riding, according to Globe And Mail. The shuffle follows the resignation this week of Public Security Minister Jacques Dupuis, who announced he was quitting politics for personal reasons and jean-Marc Fournier, who until this week was working as an adviser to federal Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, will replace Kathleen Weil. Ms. Weil was moved to the immigration portfolio. As reported in the news.
