Immigration: Hyperventilating

Unease Dept: Me, I haven't lost a wink, according to Vancouver Sun. Yet the only unease I'm feeling is around that kind of knee-jerk response. Listen to talk radio, read online comment boards: "Sink the next ship," they say. "Canada's got too many of those people already." The Tamils are here, more may be coming, so how are you sleeping these days? I know I'm supposed to be wringing my hands and hyperventilating and all. I mean, who shows up on a near-junked cargo ship, welcomed by police and military? They have to be no-good-nicks, right? As reported in the news.
