Favourable Rates Dept: Toronto police are warning members of Toronto's Chinese community to be on guard after two separate incidents earlier this month, according to CBC. In both cases, the alleged victims responded to the ad and met a man on several occasions to arrange for large sums of money to be sent to China and two men in the Greater Toronto Area have told police they are out hundreds of thousands of dollars after they were duped into giving their money to a man who had set up a bogus currency exchange service. Police said an ad was posted on a popular Chinese website, offering to exchange Canadian currency to the Chinese yuan at favourable rates. As
