Ontario Place Dept: mjaclc : How come no one's mentioned the lovable animatronics clock? This is the place to grow ... in Ontario-o-o! It would go off every 15 minutes. We would wait to see it over and over again. As a 10-year old immigrant kid in the 70s you can imagine the unbelievable sights and experiences that Children's Village provided, according to The Star. akat : I remember back when Ontario Place just had the waterplay area, no Soak City, no big waterslides, and there would be a line up of people around the whole side of the fence waiting to get in. The best part was the water guns where you could aimlessly shoot people who didn't want to get wet and harry in Kingston : I will always remember going on the log ride with my daughter years ago. She thought we were in Disney. The whole ride was an education, and at the end on this particular day was a sampling of moose meat. I believe it was prepared by natives of Northern Ontario and it was excellent. We both remember it to this day. balingbalung : I remember getting tangled up in the massive nets near Children's Village, along with the zipline and the free movies at the Cinesphere. But tops are the Forum where my family saw Don McLean, Tina Turner and where Smokey Robinson reached out and kissed my grandma's hand! As
reported in the news.
