Officials said the navigators would help with everything from obtaining a cellphone to getting a job and the funding is going to: $16,491 to Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority $28,304 to Strait-Highlands Regional Development Authority $47,000 to Colchester Regional Development Agency $105,000 to Greater Halifax Partnership $47,000 to Kings County Regional Development Agency $33,000 to Lunenburg Queens Regional Development Agency $30,000 to South West Shore The government money will be split among seven regional development authorities to provide immigration navigators, staff and services who will help ease the integration process and keep newcomers in Nova Scotia.
