Gulf Of Thailand Dept: The Sunday Observer, a Colombo newspaper, reports that the MV Sun Sea, formerly known as the Harin Panich 19, is carrying Tamil Tiger leaders among its passengers, according to Globe And Mail. Last month, the ship was believed to be in the Gulf of Thailand, heading towards Australia. That country has been cracking down recently on Sri Lankan asylum seekers and canadian authorities have been monitoring the ship for months. In May, the Philippine coast guard issued a warning asking officials to keep an eye out for the vessel. As reported in the news.
